Trivia: In one sex scene Lester (Jason Mewes) flips his tie around, so it's hanging down his back. This was done because Jason has director Kevin Smith's daughter's name tattooed down his back, and used the tie to hide said tattoo.

Very funny movie that didn't perform as well at the box office as it deserved too, probably because even excepting TV advertisements that shortened the title to "Zack & Miri", I'm sure many theater marquees did the same, and "Make a Porno" is the memorable part of the title, not "Zack & Miri". I bet a considerable portion of its audience didn't even know it was playing.

Kevin said he's been trying to get the Live song Lift Me Up (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMYGqTTj-GY) into a movie for almost 15 years, and its use in Zack & Miri is excellent.

this was hilarious. better than a lot of kevin smith movies. it's sad that it did so horribly and that people actually take box office numbers as some sort of quality-gospel. kevin smith really took it hard.
