Art Gallerrhea
Over the last few years I've noticed that my participation on art gallery sites has waned. The only reason I keep hanging on to them is, sadly, for the instantaneous ego boost. And that's a terrible reason to participate in something. So for my own good I'm calling it quits on places like DA and FA. I think that communities like that have shifted my focus from actually learning how to draw to posting art I think my watchers will like. It's how my brain works. I know it's bad, but I keep doing it anyway.
I spent the weekend drawing and it was such a painful experience. I need to focus on learning again.
