John Cullum (who I love on the Urinetown recording) was in a movie called 1776 in which one of my great-great-great-great-etc. uncles or grandfather is a character... nifty. All because I was looking at trivia on www.imdb.com for Reese Witherspoon. A relative of hers signed the Declaration of Independence & so did mine. I'm sort of becoming obsessed with Reese. After her Oscar speech I got sosooooo many "You are so her!" comments which made me happy. Maybe we can play sisters or something one day. Gillian Anderson can star in it, too, with Justin Kirk. And Mary Louise. And Don Cheadle. Johnny Depp, Patrick Wilson, Laura Linney. You know, the usual.
I am easily amused.
Last night I saw Joanne! And we saw a cabaret-esque performance at the Duplex on Christopher St. Sebastian sang some awesome songs, Stephanie J. Block sang an amazing Scott Alan song, Jeffrey Kuhm & Christopher Hanke are adooorable, the 3 songwriters are very promising based on what I heard/liked. I would like to go back to see another performance. I was sad Wayne Wiclcox wasn't there, though. It was fun & short & I got back to campus at 10:30 which is earlier than normal after doing something in the city.
Tonight: half off appetizers at Applebees with some people. I am SO craving boneless buffalo wings. I went to the gym for the first time in 5 days & i ran for 30 minutes, did the elliptical for 35 minutes, and did some weight machine things. It felt great. Obviously I have to defunct the purpose with eating lots of appetizers, but you know, you can only do so much until cheap non-campus food comes your way.
