Tonight I realized I'm really going to miss this show once it's over at the end of season 2. I love the characters, there is bonding stuff going on, and it's grown on me. The last six or eight episodes have been compelling and I can only think of one truly WTF episode for this season.
I just kind of wish they'd give shows more time to grow into themselves and correct what didn't work. I keep thinking if Star Trek the Next Generation had aired today it would have been canceled probably by the end of season 1.
My favorite part of tonight's episode was when Greer told the one scientist guy that had a crush on Parker not to worry about her staying on the ship, that should could take care of herself. I loved that he had confidence in his girlfriend and didn't try to protect her. No lie, she almost died but it was her choice to take the risk for something she felt was important. I was so happy that they didn't kill Parker. I was very worried for a minute there.
