Still searching for photo
I'm still searching for the following wallpaper/fan art/artwork?
One thing I have learned in the last two hours is that people are crap at crediting where their original source files were pulled from. I found about 5 bases of this picture at Deviant art but none of the artists credited the person who had originally made the Sam and Dean set, let alone point out where the original was located.
I have no clue how other people search for artwork on LJ or google or deviant art but I feel like I'll never get those two hours back. It's an incredibly frustrating process sifting through the art websites. I mean it's great for browsing to find new artwork and wallpapers but searching for specific features in a image...that's not so easy.
I'm glad for icons I add the icon creator's LJ name to the beginning of the file name so five years down the road I know who made the icon. But back in 2007 these things did not occur to me. :(
Another thing that is HIGHLY annoying is that so many art posts/wallpaper posts are flocked. LJ is quickly turning into this walled garden. It seems like everywhere I turn I'm hitting Access Denied posts. (going to have to just let that go, it's not like I didn't see the walled gardens in fandom coming)
If anyone knows any communities I can post this request to I'd appreciate a pointer in the right direction.
