The Lament of Gary Gygax
Gary Gygax. my childhood (and adulthood) hero is dead today. A man who made his living creating games that geeks around the world have enjoyed with nothing more than pencil, paper, and some dice; oh, if only we could be so altruistic. His is the generation of bearded hippies like Steve Wozniak who managed to make a living by making the world a better place. I would loved to have been one of them...but I can't grow a beard :D
He is missed.
