Okay, so, first off, I would just like to throw a HUGE thank you out there to the 833 crew, Dave, Greggy, Gramse, and Veghy for this semester! It's been weird... I've been out a Laura, a Julie, Eric just isn't there anymore, and David has his own thing going on. So yes. Thank you. You guys have pretty much made this semester. And will, undoubtedly, continue to make it. So much love! :)
I've been kicking it into gear with school lately, so I've been trying my best to keep myself busy with that. And That... well... That happens to be a lot. I currently have two holds on my registration for this coming Fall because 1) academic probation and 2) I haven't declared a "major" yet. Thus, the reason for me kicking it into gear when it comes to school. However, I still have to declare a fake major. Also, I need to find a house for us for the next school year. And make a couple doctor appointments as well. I have, literally, TONS to do before the end of the semester. Guh.
Where have I been spending my days and my time? I have replaced going home in between classes and work with studying, drinking coffee, and listening to my "study music" (which happens to be this way awesome hip hop mixtape I got from a bulletin Brandon Logic posted on MySpace) at Hard Times, and I'm really liking the routine. There's this guy who's usually there when I am. We play the glance/eye game. It's cute. And one of these days.... I will talk to him. He seems pretty legit.
I haven't been going out drinking/partying a whole lot either, which is also nice. This past Saturday was the first time in a long time that I got a nice buzz going. Me, Gramse, Dave, and Rob at my place (Circle of Death, yes!) and then to visit Chris and Trevor at St. Thomas and then back to my place to crash. Guys night in, in a way. Interesting, since I was the only girl. Of course, being the only girl subjects you to be the butt of most jokes but I love hanging with the guys. Reminds me of summer time. Mmmm... summer time. Excellence. So that was a better night than it initially seemed like it was going to be.
Oh yeah. Work. I've been doing that quite a bit too. And today... I had an interview for the SA position for this summer. I wasn't really sure if I wanted it even, but I'm finding myself hoping I get the job. It would be good if I did. Well... we'll see what happens come March 23rd. I interview HORRIBLY. So who knows.
I've been working on getting my sleep schedule to be... at least somewhat normal. It's working a little bit. Being gone all day has been helping some, as well as refraining from always drinking coffee late at night. I've also been taking a vitamin that is in the process of determining if it helps the condition at all. I don't really think it's been helping much, if at all, though.
Oh! I've even asked my mum if she would be interested in a partnership. So realistic, it's exciting. I'm going to start reading up on coffee as well. I Amazon'd books on coffee and it gave me a huge list of books I can and am going to read. I even found a few on how to get a coffee shop up and running. I've been thinking about starting my business plan, but I'm thinking I shouldn't get too ahead of myself on this. One step at a time. God. I'm overwhelmed with excitement and drive. The fulfillment of my dream.
Well. I think that's all for tonight. I have HEAPS of reading to get done for my management class. I have a midterm in that Thursday night. Last one though! And then! Spring break!!! Wooooo!!!! I'm going home for one glorious week!! Can't wait!
Love.
P.S. If ANYONE can help me in MicroEcon and/or Business Stats, I will give you my first born child.
P.S.S. Good luck on midterms!
