So, I haven't updated this thing in A WHILE now. Time to play a little catch up. I deleted my MySpace and Facebook accounts several months ago. Social Networking is a dying fad. I still use Twitter on occasion, but that is mostly just sporadic comments.
Anyways, I decided to start updating this thing a little more just to catalog some life events. Some of this I may already have posted, but I can't remember right off hand and am just too lazy to go back through my entries. So, here I go:
I bought a new house in Saucier back in April/May. Nothing fancy, just a brand new little three bedroom/two bath to raise my family in.
Work wise, I am still at the same company as the I.T. Director. It's a phenomenal job that fully utilizes me. The owner is simply amazing. I'm also doing a lot of free lance projects all over the coast. Most notable was a certain little run of billboards for a major casino down here :). I won the Gulf Coast Leadership Award this year as well. A few of you I actually ran in to at the award ceremony.
I bought another new car, a brand new Ford Mustang GT. This thing is a freaking BEAST of a machine. Even with just a few upgrades I am already pushing close to 500 horse. Last dyno was 492 hp at 5300 RPM with a few bolt ons ;) I eat I4's and V6's for breakfast. These stupid ricer kids haven't stood a chance yet. That's her in the picture in the driveway. V8 and the lovely 3.55:1 rear end ;) I'm currently getting her ready for Cruising The Coast. Look for the pack of us S197 Mustangs cruising around.
My daughter, Trinity is growing like CRAZY. Seriously, nothing beats having an adorable daughter. At three months now she is learning and growing in leaps and bounds. Definitely no mistaking who's daughter she is LOL. She looks a lot like me. Has my feet and hands too. Poor poor baby :( I spoil her rotten though ;) She's my everything.
I go to a different church now. Very active in it too. I decided that a non-denominational church was a better fit for me. So, a friend brought me to Freedom River Church, introduced me to nearly the entire congregation including the pastor and his wife. Needless to say that I've been there ever since. Check out the church's website at
www.FreedomRiverChurch.org . I didn't design the site, so don't criticize me!
I've been spending a lot of time in Florida here lately due to work. I love it down there.
Some of you may be shocked by this, but I haven't been doing a lot of gaming here lately. To show just how far behind the curve I am, I just now started the FIRST Gears Of War... However, I DID run out and buy Wolfenstein when it came out the other week. I just haven't really had the time anymore.
All in all, life is good.
