Just back from a friend's son's wedding. It was the modern American wedding. One bridesmaid had four visible tatoos and the couple's six month old daughter was crying through most of the ceremony. It was what I like in a wedding, though. SHORT.
Watched the last Christopher Eccleston Dr. Who on Friday. Wonder what William Hartnell would have thought about all that kissing. I thought Jack kissing the Doctor was hysterical! Slashers are having an effect! I gather Capt. Jack has his own spin-off series. What's it like? I also watched "Hex." Since I'm an Amurican, I was a bit puzzled by the school. Was it for older teenagers--the headmaster referred to the elventh form and the thirteenth form. Sort of the final years of "high school" before university? Or was it an art college sort of place? Two year degrees for 19 and 20 year olds? Anyway, I wouldn't have let that nasty bunch of vile pigs into such a lovely building, especially with all the nice art around. Don't know that I'll stick it out, if only because all the students were thin and beautiful and the basic premise about fallen angels seems lame but I'll give it another episode or two before I decide.
My husband LOVES "Footballer's Wives" and has me watching that,now, waiting for that bitch Tanya to get what she deserves!
