Work, health, and almost done with big project

Had a dream that needed NO interpretation the other night. I was carrying a whole bunch of bags full of lots of boxes and kept dropping or misplacing either a bag or a box.

Started back to work on the 19th and planned to work Monday and Tuesday. Worked Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Monday the 26th, classes officially start. Have a new photocopier because the two others are elderly but I plan to use them and see if I can wear one out to clear some space. I will no longer assist in the library -- which I really liked doing -- but will be the lunchroom aide. Oh, well. I go where they tell me. I think this is my last year working but we'll see come spring.

Made the mistake of having a physical and opted for the blood tests and bone density. The drug I was offered to help control my diabetes has the side effect of vomiting, nausea and diarrhea and I was to call the pharmacist if that symptoms didn't end in three days. I elected to try to control my blood sugar myself. Good-bye to my nightly Oreos. And the bone density, especially in my lumbar spine, is not what it should be so I take another drug once a week. It induces heartburn so you are supposed to take it with lots of water and sit upright for half an hour after taking it. I am currently sitting extremely upright and drinking water and not having terrible heartburn so yay.

If I were capable of cutting and mounting the cove moulding and quarter round and moving the furniture and the rug myself, my new guest bedroom project would be done except for the mattress purchase. I will buy a cheap mattress. I am not spending thousands of dollars on a mattress that will be used two weeks a year, max. Sadly, I need help for all those projects. My husband loses his temper easily when he realizes he can't do the projects as easily as in his youth so the carpentry goes very slowly and I have to depend on coordinating with four other people to get the furniture moved. Maybe by next weekend. The weather is cooling off and since the room is un-air conditioned, that will help. But it looks as good as I hoped.

Onward to autumn.
