haven't updated in a while. I feel like I need to at least jot some things down. So here it goes.
Since last update:
1. helped to create a really incredible, multi-issue, grassroots, all volunteer, community building social movement in this terrible town called the mount pleasant free school.
2. burned down every possibly bridge with central's history department and left the place sad and angry
3. slipped into more debt because of # 2
4. Procrastinated about getting the paper done for the MSU professor who changed my life
5. went to mexico to be with a very good friend and escape white people for a bit
6. in the process, lost most motivation to finish paper mentioned in #4
7. realized that Mexico was a very complicated and oftentimes contradictory place
8. after completing a translation for AK press, left mexico earlier than I had thought, came home to the states without a clear idea of the "whats next"
9. upon coming home, finally initiated the very painful process of trying to understand my sexuality and practice in a better way. In other words: made a committment to do my best to stop making bad decisions that end up hurting people I care about deeply.
10. went to Allied Media Conference and fell in love with everyone.
11. left Allied Media Conference and missed everyone.
12. lost excitement and inspiration that the free school once gave me
13. because of # 12, freaked out about being bak in Mount Pleasant
14. went to DC to visit old comrade and dear friend
15. realized that when I try to be social, i can sometimes do a very good job and have a very good time
16. met a very brilliant and exciting person who also kisses well.
17. was almost convinced to either stay longer in DC or move to DC
18. came home and started moving into new house with old and dear comrade
19. got very bored.
20. updated my livejournal.
the future!?
21. found amazing job, ideally with the tribe, which paid well and was fulfilling
22. was able to stay here and be mostly excited about it while at the same time always having the time and resources to leave when it became unbearable
23. finally getting over myself and giving myself fully to Aztlan
24. but 23 would require first learning and mastering some sort of skill to bring to the table....
