Typical Saturday
Today has been the typical Saturday. Woke up, crawled in the livingroom and watched cartoons. Most of them were re-runs but Cory & I amused ourselves with pillow fights n stuff. Lunch rolled around and made the pilgrimage to Weinerschnitzel. Got a dip cone each and life was good.
After that came back and dug out the remote control jet ski. Went to a few places in town but the river was flowing too fast. Played on the play scape for a bit. Found one water hole where it was somewhat still but there was gunk n stuff. Then it hit me!! Nobody was using the pool at the apartment complex so we slipped into the there and ran it around for a while. The thing can really move. Too bad we didn't each have one.
Now it's video games, munchies, and a few movies. I ask myself if I'm setting a bad precedent by being bums all weekend. Sometimes it feels that way but as long as I reinforce the important stuff (vitamins, brushing teeth, baths) and we still have fun, things should turn out right.
Cory & I were talking about our upcoming trip to Disney World in June. My dad is taking us & Cory's sister. Cory thinks that I should spend my time with his sister since I hardly ever see her. How do I break it to him that I'm not interested? It might be easier if she wasn't so ill mannered (even at 4yo)
Also I talked to Ailanthus the other night about flying out to Denver early when I go to Arakis. I'll talk to Shendo and see if he has room for several people and/or the time off. I need the time off and I really want to see Marleah & her family. I'm looking forward to June & Arakis.
