what if conscious is the only entity that can recognize the passage of time? does it exist outside of our minds, in the physical world.. or is time just another figment of imagination? 16 years old because the body has been for sixteen years (..it hasnt, cells, among other things, are constantly regenerating. that which made us us a year ago [with respect to time..] is not the same that makes us us at the moment, for all practical purposes we have been and will continue to be forever [again, with respect to time]) or because the mind perceives the passing of sixteen years.. and being one of consciousity we have no other choice but to believe so?
