So, just to jot down an idea that I've been pondering doing with this card (because I'm awful and ponder ideas before I've even gotten the prompts for them): I'm writing a Dean/Cas/Meg high school AU based on the prompts I got on my first hc_bingo card, and I want this card's prompts to go to a college AU follow up to that high school AU, the general premise of which is, "Dean, Cas, and Meg go to separate colleges. Meg goes to a women's college out in Massachusetts, Cas goes to a liberal arts school in New York, and Dean goes to the University of Michigan out in Ann Arbor (because I know what Ann Arbor is like and I want to write Dean doing things in Ann Arbor because of reasons). And despite saying that he's going to handle this well, Dean… handles it not well. Like, all of his abandonment issues get triggered, he is lonely and miserable and upset about everything, and due to some stunning mental gymnastics (which totally include thinking that Cas and Meg are just going to dump him for somebody better anyway), Dean ends up cheating on Meg and Cas with his roommate, Benny. And relapses into his eating disordered habits again. And he takes a ballet class taught by Alastair, which is possibly not his best idea ever."
There are a few prompts that… I don't know how I'm going to handle in this AU setup at all, yet. Like, "forced marriage" will probably have to be a really loose interpretation of the prompt, and so will, "prostitution" and, "alien abduction" (not least because there are no aliens in this AU, but I'm thinking, for that one, Dean possibly gets high and has a really bad experience with it and Benny has to talk him down). And "secret identity discovered" will probably be more like, "Benny finds out about Cas and Meg and/or Cas and Meg find out about Benny." …and I'll probably kill John off for the "death" prompt, because I really, really don't like John, but his death would be a huge blow to Dean, and hurt!Dean is kind of my precious.
…whatever I end up titling this fic (and for thematic consistency with the original fic, it'll probably get a title from a Killers song), I should probably subtitle it, "I really really really really really really REALLY like hurt!Dean, the college AU edition."
