A Castiel Fanmix
I promised I'd do this and I did, plus I have to spread the Castiel love. :D
This is mainly a dark mix but it includes two more optimistic, if I can put it that way songs. I will share some thoughts too and I'd love to discuss. If you want individual songs let me know.

This song started it all lol. I was listening to that and I thought That's a great Castiel song. It's so powerful and the lyrics fit Castiel. He is an Angel but he also burns people's eyes.
And not to pull your halo down

Castiel is an Angel but he is a soldier in a war too, sacrifices have to be made cause even Angels fall and even Angels have a dark side.

I cheated a bit with this one lol. Cause it is about Castiel having second thoughts about what is right and what is wrong and what he should do but it is also about Dean and how he needs his help and advice. :)

I just love this song and the lyrics so much!! Angels know the past, know the patterns. I think these lyrics say it better than me.

Is Castiel good or bad? I think he is closer to humans than Angels.
There’s a bulls-blooded fountain in the pit of a moan
That I'll summon an eclipse on my way to the lord

I cheated a bit again lol. I know Isuck! This has to do with the way Castiel sees mortals,after his discussion with Dean we got to see that he is wondering too and he has doubts too, not everything is black and white. But it also has to do with how Dean affects his view of the world. These lyrics:

But that's not what you need

I wanted this to end on a sweet tone so I included this that paints a more beautiful image of the world, a world that Castiel knows deserves to be saved and not to disappear.
