RIP
Well, I had to euthanize momma platy today. *sigh*
Damned fish made it for 2 years, even through the terrible ick outbreak in the beginning.
Went to feed the fish this morning, check temperature, and all of that jazz; there she is at the bottom, her own children (damned in-grateful cannibals)eating her tail, and swimming upside down. The nearly incurable swim bladder troubles.
So, yep, clove oil to anesthetize her and then 10 minutes in the freezer. At least she didn't have to be eaten.
