I love your show, really. Despite the recipe, despite the fact that the two male detectives barely have names beyond Thing 1 and Thing 2. You have Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic, who are gold.
But WTF, what was up with the complete inability to say that the murder victim in this week's episode was raped? The word rape was not mentioned, instead a euphemism I've already forgotten was repeated by several of the characters, and it wasn't even the old standby of "violated" or "assaulted" which at least are honest.
Gah. RAPE. SHE WAS RAPED. WAS THAT SO HARD?
