How excited am I?
Just got my copy of volume 4 of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer comic (season 8!).
FRAY! FRAY! How happy am I at a short little glimpse of Fray and her sister? It's not much, but Buffy fighting Melaka was awesome. And EvilWillow. Never lets me down. The writing was fun and punchy even if the faces of Buffy, Willow, and Fray's sister were at times indistinguishable. Oh well, I'm not gonna complain too much, because Evil!Willow, and Dawn turned into a centaur, and Amy and Warren, and was that Angel there at the end?
I need to find my copy of Volume 1.
In other news, I got volume 3 of Alias too, which I've already read, but now I actually own a physical copy. I need to hunt down volume 4. And also a TPB of Love and Rockets, which I've never read, and was a shot in the dark.
In other news, this webcomic is awesome fun and still in progress. The Trans-migration of Ultra-lad!
The retro crumbling acidic paper! The occasional crayon scribbles! And some kind of cool plot about an old dude who somehow becomes the iconic Ultra Lad. I love the art. I have no idea what's actually happening, but the art is fabulous.
There's also Vs. by the same artist, which is even more awesome, in the art department.
