dear cats -- go away.
It's my day off. I slept badly all week. I really, really wanted to sleep in this morning. But first Saffron woke me up and convinced me to feed her, and I was so sleepy I thought it was 6:30, which is close enough to her regular feeding time that I gave in. But when I got back to bed the clock said 5:30. So she tricked me.
By that time, the little boy cat Starbuck had heard me, and jadefire88 is on a business trip so he was locked in her room by himself, and he started crying. So I gave him some food too and tried to go back to sleep but he kept caterwauling.loudly enough that I couldn't.
So now I'm awake, and he's happily snuck underneath and up inside the couch where he's probably destroying it, but I can't reach him under there, and Saffron has hidden under the dining room table because he's out here threatening to terrorize with his very presence.
I'd like to go back to sleep, now.
update: he's out from under the couch and now he's under the living room rug. They're only cute until you really, really want to be sleeping.
