Drabble
Really, I'm going to step away from the computer soon.
I don't really believe Methos and MacLeod had a big heart-to-heart after Bordeaux, they seem too... male for that. But if they did, I can see this exchange...
"The very stars have shifted in the sky since I rode with Kronos, yet I'm not allowed to change? You have no right, MacLeod."
"No right to what?" MacLeod growled, "No right to be angry?"
"Be as angry as you like," Methos snapped, "But you have no right to judge how I've changed. You weren't there. You weren't there then and you sure as hell weren't there for the hundreds of years I spent trying to redeem my past, nor the hundreds of years after that it took me to realize I could never do so. Even if I live for another 5,000 years I can never erase what I did then, and I can never atone for it. I can live with it, and that's all there is."
