a rec with a caveat...
I quite liked Pawn Advancing, a Lymond fic, until she got to the part where Gideon Sommerville was there.
Because Gideon was DEAD by the time this would have occurred. Gah. Anyway, if you can overlook that fact, it's a good fic.

jadefire88 has helpfully pointed out, I'm a little slow. It wasn't Gideon Somerville. Sometimes I read too fast and obviously miss things. *hangs head*
