Finding true love?
Ok, I know this is gonna be a slightly annoying post, but it's what's on my mind . . .
I just really started thinkin' about my future . . . as far as guys go. This stupid movie (not really, it was cute, but for the purpose of this post...stupid) made me start thinking about it. One of the characters says that by the year 2020 girls will outnumber guys 4:1. So, there goes any notion that everyone has a soul mate . . . that everyone has someone out there for them. Forget the whole "there are more fish in the sea" cliche b/c no matter how many fish there are, there aren't f-in enough to go around. I just really hope that I find someone, and am lucky enough to leave this world knowing that I've found my true love. Isn't that what everyone wants though? I always feel bad for these people I see that come into Outback while I'm workin' and sit down to a dinner for one. Yes, it's true, for some people they have someone, but their work schedule only permits this sometimes . . . but what about for the others? They go to dinner alone, many to sit and get caught up in a book while eating rather than enthralled with someone special sitting across from them. I don't want that. I want to wake up in the morning next to someone that I know will do anything for and vice versa. Heh, my sister's lucky. She's been with her guy for 4 years . . . and he's her fiance now. Next summer, at the age of 23, she'll be married. That's got to be an incredible feeling to know who you're going to spend the rest of your life with at such a young age. *sigh* Maybe someday, huh? For now, I've just gotta have some fun trying!
Anyway, since I'm already writing I might as well keep on goin'. Saturday night was a lot of fun . . . hung out with some people I don't usually see, and it was a fun mix: Kel, heh, her sis Krista, Mark H, Dory, Joe, Skip, James, and Rusty n Nick for a while.
As for today, I went shopping with Kris, woohoo, n got to buy this skirt that I really wanted, which is exciting b/c I don't buy new clothes too often. Heh, then around 9 after waitin' for Kris to get ready for too long cuz she was playin' w/ her n her mom's darn new phone, I fell asleep 'till 11. So I know she was w/ Walt . . . I ended up out with Kel to Taco Bell(yum) watchin' this scary cat walk around while we ate in the parking lot, ha, and then went over to Dory's for a lil movie night. I'm glad I've seen her more lately. I missed the kid! Heh.
Well, this is already probably more than anyone cares to read, but do so and respond if you really feel compelled . . . Oh! One more thing. I know there are some people that I've really wanted to see more, but haven't, SO if you wanna get together, just let me know b/c I'm sure I'd love to see ya! : )
