Well, being at Michigan is going a lot better than I thought it would. Everyone I've met here has been so nice and welcoming, and I've met quite a few people through my classes. Even my classes aren't that bad. I'm actually taking all nursing classes for once, plus my crazy hard spanish class, but it's nice because i'll finally be in the hospital and doing stuff for my career unlike i would have been at western. Plus one of my professors said that UM has the 4th or 5th best nursing school in the nation -- that's pretty awesome. I found out that out of 156 applicants, only 30 were accepted, so I feel very honored to be a student there!! Our football team may suck this year, but the games are still fun, especially before the games in Ann Arbor. The streets are crazy and packed and everyone is partying. So much fun. Friday was pretty crazy too, who ever said no one parties in Ann Arbor has never been there. so glad i'm content knowing i made the right decision 8]
I'm still looking for a place to live on campus, which is proving to be pretty difficult, but i'm going to look at a few places tomorrow and i'm applying for a job at the gandy dancer so hopefully that'll come through so i can make some money :]
