Application for Yamanaka Ino; Part Two.yhaytharJuly 9 2006, 19:18:25 UTC
Writing Sample: She wanted to play it out just like the movies: quick, sharp, and overall visually appealing.
After fiddling around with the settings of the virtual fighting system, she centered herself on the floor and waited for her enemies on the urban street. While her opponents were 'loading', she took the time to observe her surroundings. To her left was a line of parallel parked cars, one of the cars she'd been particularly fond of for quite a while, now -- funny how her dream car would end up in a game like this -- and next to those were aligned shops with makeshift roofs to shield bystanders from rain. To her right was almost the same pattern, save for the turn that dipped into the pits of an alleyway. Once again observing the buildings, she could see that the roofs were flat, except one or two that were slanted, and all were made of a hard material, from brick to even steel.
Other than that, the sidewalks were empty, the street she was standing on lacked any active cars, as she'd turned both settings off, and it was nighttime with a full moon glowing its whole, virtual, almost too shiny, beauty.
The loading bar in front of her had completely filled up, and out her enemies came. Upon being approached by one clad in blue and red, she bent her body back into what was recognized as a bridge, and gracefully lifted one knee up and over, only to kick her other with a bit of force, the impact of her foot against the man's chin causing him to stumble back. The way she had her settings, all it took was a touch of impact until her opponent was eliminated. After she was done experimenting with her pseudo-fighting arts theory by replacing self-defense with gymnastics, she'd worry the other details later.
For now, she had other computer-opponents to worry about. Notes?: This is actually my first Naruto role play~ *facepalms* But seeing as it's alternate universe, I thought I'd give it a shot. No harm in trying, right? (:
