Of new year wishes...

I cannot still understand the meaning of mass forwards/sms/emails/orkut scraps wishing new year, I mean how can someone wish everyone on their phone lists? Is it wishing at all? I feel this is just an occasion for you to know that you are on their contact list

Thats ok, I'm sure you must have wished people whom you really wanted to in person/phone.

Well I did send out cards saying season's greetings (before christamas) but i never call people up cos it's my birthday on the 1st and i feel that it wouldbe like saying "dud it's my birthday too = so wish me for that along with a happy new year".
But i get your point and totally agree with you - i hate the mass sms messages.
