I <3 london and Jean!!
Saw "The Lightning Play" on thursday which was AMAZING! And now I get to make a presentation and write a paper on it. Thankfully the paper isn't due for another 2 weeks. But I still have 2 papers due this week to pour all I have left after rehearsals into.
So Jean visited me for these past few days thereby making them awesome! We did touristy things, I showed her around a bit. We had orgasmic indian food for really cheap. The paratha naan was the best part. And before that we went to the National Gallery and checked out some works by Picasso, Van Gogh ("Sunflowers" is amazing in person!), Van Eyck, Uccello, da Vinci, Raphael, Rubens, Rembrandt, Seurat, Cezanne.... I could go on! It was lovely. Then we wandered about Trafalgar Sq., down to Westminster to say hi to Big Ben, along the Thames, and then to Brick Lane for the food. Afterwards we found some gelato and watched the Notebook. The perfect end to the perfect day. We bonded and I love her!
And earlier that day I was in class on a fild trip to the National Gallery when I saw who? THE BLOODY QUEEN!!!! She was being driven in a car, the cops had stopped all traffic to let hers through. She looked very happy and content like all old ladies should.
Today I was ASM bitch. I basically cleaned the dressing rooms at the theatre, moved stuff around, hand sanded and glued about 20 chairs, and made tea. Now i am on a mission to do nothing that isn't for myself. Tomorrow morning I'm getting up early to go celebrate remembrance day and possibly go to mass at St. Pauls.
