not quite sure why i've started titling these god damn things

Let's start with Wednesday. I had a mid-term for architecture in the morning and a 1500 word theatre essay due that night (8pm when the centre closes). Mid-term went well, paper was awful, partly because i had eaten nothing but trail-mix and was becoming more and more ill by the second. 6pm rolls around and i'm ready to die since i hadn't had a break in hours when my cell rings. Apparently the Gate Theatre (an off-west end/fringe theatre) needs an assistant stage manager and finds me a likely candidate. I had sent them my CV over a month ago and they pulled it out. She wanted to interview me sometime the next day.. except that i would be in Wales from thurs. to sun. So I finish my paper with time to spare and catch a tube to Notting Hill where the theatre is. She loves me and a few days later confirms my position. The catch: my presence at the Gate every night from tomorrow to Dec. 16 excpet sundays and possibly missing a week of classes for tech. But i'm volunteering, and that's all that matters!!!

So, Wales... gorgeous!!!! It was supposed to rain the whole time but it didn't it was beautiful. I may post pics in the near future of me storming a castle and other fun stuff. The highlight of the trip was when we went coasteering which is when you get in a wet suit, a helmet, and life-jacket, climb some cliffs and jump off of them into water. It was amazing!!! the biggest adrenalin rush of my life. The highest jump was 35ft and i did it twice!! I'm not even that bruised and battered from it all. The hardest part was getting out of the water and onto the rocky cliff edges.

The castles were lovely. Wales has more castles per square mile than any other country in the EU. The people are really short too! We visited the top rated museum in Britain, The Big Pit, which was an old coal mine. our guide was adorable and called us "lovelies" and "wenches". I ended up with two crushes on this trip, 3 if you count the coasteerer guy who i simply longed to fuck. the first crush is on someone here at the res hall. he's short, hairy and adorable!! I sat next to him on the bus for a few hours and developed my crush. i think he likes someone else, but tis nice to dream. I ended up with a tiny crush on our tour guide/bus driver. He was hilarious, had good taste in music, and apparently made an inappropraite comment about how i look like something out of "bay watch" when i run.

I now need to go complete my laudry, I currently am not wearing panties or a bra. I haven't done laundry in over a month, go me.
