My poor kitty, Vlad, has gone missing. We think he was stolen. Today has been a shitty day.  Watari, the uber bitch kitty, has actually been all lovey today, but I just keep looking at her thinking "man, why wasn't it you?" I'm a bad kitty parent.

We've had him for 8 years, but got him from a shelter, so we figure he's about 10. We do have a lot of pets, but he's definitely my special favorite. He has the best purr ever.

We have 6 cats, a rat, and a recently acquired dog that my dad was going to shoot. Vlad was rescued straight from a shelter in California, all the others were strays. The rat was from someone who was going to make her snake food.

Oh the cats love the rat. I don't think they realize that food can move, so don't think of her as food. One of the cats, Maxwell, lets her sit on his back while he walks around the house.
