It is, I think I need to do it sometime too.
It is frustrating, because you're one of the few people actually DOING something that fulfills such a love in their heart, and I hate that humans have to get in there and make it a frustration. I hope this trip isn't coming at a bad time for all that, and that they're not going to give you any grief for going. :( URGH they're SO LUCKY to have you there, they need to just acknowledge that. They better, or I'll go effing ninja on their asses like whoa. Don't apologize for ranting. You deserve to let off steam too. ♥
If all else fails I'll grab a racquet and pull a Federror on them. XD

I wish I could send my brother over. He knows everything there is to know about the ins and outs of a computer. I hope your dad can help. Can you get a new drive and transfer before it godforbid crashes? There has to be a way of pulling info off even if it is unresponsive, surely... I'm so useless when it comes to comps. :/
Here's hoping Tuesday is plentiful in its awesomeness. :) And to think soon, we get to put our toes in the ocean and have coffee at our pretty Moka tables :) bcn is indeed very good for the heart. ♥
