That was my jaw hitting the floor you heard earlier...

In all logic, one would have expected for teh Rafa to be a bit tired. Like the time Gonzo beat him after the epic battle against Andrew (oh Andy where are you? *longs*) where Rafa's ass got hurt. And in all logic, Gonzo should have gone out there with all engines firing, using the bomb-forehand to blast Rafa off court and enough confidence to make the earth shake, or I dunno... something.
Thing was, Rafa didn't entirely agree with this flight plan, so he turned it around.
He IS made of win. I don't know what else can he be made of. I did say this was going to be his toughest year and I did believe the clay season was in danger. This is Rafa clonking me in da head with his new racket and feeding me my own words. And this is me happily eating my own words. Rafa roolz. I don't know shit. How can I ban the damned blind faith with him doing the things he keeps on doing?! *believes*
He's got more titles than years now XD
And he's the only child boy kid man ever to have won Montecarlo, Barcelona and Rome for three consecutive years, the first ever to win Rome for three consecutive years, the first ever to reach 77 straight victories on either clay or any given surface... and I'll stop or I'll bore you to death. Now the next level of record breaking stands where the Grand Slams are. And I do believe he can reach the heavens with his fingertips :B

So, mandatory tourney picspam. Just, this time I went a bit over the top, I dunno how many pics I uploaded but I love'em all and I adore him so forgive my weekly worship of the guy. One can only put a knee on the ground and swear every oath to my brother, my captain My King, My liege *dorks*

I think Rafa could patent the term mancleavage

Also, yummy yummy Novak in white.

Oh gawd Kim, you're right, unbuttoned cuffs over those hands = delicious, but the mancleavage... CLAVICLE *gurgles*

And my current desktop wall

His match against Novak was to save as a treasure forever. It's very probable that if it had been a hardcourt, Nole would have won. But this is clay.

He's adorable :B
And he went all Alpha on Novak

Beautiful photo

And the ROAR after breaking Daffyduck in the third.

That was everything finding a way out.

This is amusing:

Carlos: Oh someone's about to have his record broken.
Jmac: No, it's in. Now shut up.

Flying. It feels like this.

And total relief feels like this.

*pushes him back down and rides him like a wild stallion* if wishes had wings...

Now don't let the bad tennis of his first set against Kolya fool you, it was deliberate. That was his way of rebelling against the ban of the 5 sets, it's his way of stating that if them players wish to stay on court for four hours, they ARE staying on court for four hours, five sets or not, nee-ner ATP XP
No, really, the drop on his game serves only to highlight the intense and high level he's been maintaining. It's admirable and awe inspiring and all those pretty long words.

Oh yesh he's the One

Now for some good old Victory shots and trophy bitage

*kisses the scrapes on his elbows better*

That smile says it all

But I still wish he'd have spoken Italian again *pouts*
And I wouldn't have him play Hamburg. But there's nothing to it but trust his team and let him drive.
The best of lucks for Roland Garros baby!!!

Oh and I forgot that the lady who got smacked in the face by a ball? She certainly knew how lucky she was for getting a direct RafaSmile and an apology, 'cos how she clapped to him afterwards XD
