Hawk Rocks the Park, day 2
Well, unfortunately the layout of the park didn't change. Nor did more vendors appear. And for some reason they decided to set up a stunt motorcycle event to go on between April Wine and Kim Mitchell. That's it. Just once. Then they took it down.
But all that aside, the music was great! April Wine was kinda meh, but Kim Mitchell and Styx were awesome! And I'm glad Gowan is still touring with Styx - they're a great team. They do an amazing live show. So that was good.
Somehow I managed to get a second wind towards the end of the evening (the tea may have helped) so I managed to drive home. We even found gas at 99.5! Yay Flying J.
So today is the super long day - Bards then Rocks the Park. My parents are coming down for both events, then we're all staying over in London tonight and doing brunch and maybe catching a matinee tomorrow. Unfortunately, they had a sewage backup in their basement (all kinds of yuck - and I do mean that literally) so they're not sure when they'll be getting down.
Other than that, no headache today! (so far, anyway). I'm a little sleepy, but I got more sleep last night than I have all week. I'm currently trying to figure out why I'm not sleeping well. I'm just waking up at night, I don't get to sleep until midnight-ish, then I'm up at 6:00 for work. I don't think I've had that much caffiene recently, either.
Uh oh. It's starting to rain. Bollocks. Oh, now it's stopped. *crosses fingers*
