(no subject)
YAY! it's been about four months now without a bed, and now we've finally got one. granted the reason we havent had a bed for such a stretch is because i wanted to get rid of the waterbed. sleeping on the air mattress the last few months has actually hurt my back a lot less than the waterbed did. i can't wait to try it out. I might actually start sleeping better. which would be great.
went for a stroll downtown with my favorite person the other day and saw an antifur demonstration. which was very cool i took a few shots althought the ones that rob took turned out much better. it was something of an eye opener as well. Some of the facts they were shouting out i found to be rather disturbing like each year in the united states 41 million animals are killed just for their fur. I'm not sure if that was the exact number but it was something fairly close and equally obscene. I've never understood what it is exactly people find so appealing about wearing fur. honestly i've always thought it looked cutest on the animals themselves.
I am rather bummed about the fact that it doesnt look like my sister will be coming to visit the first weekend in january for our birthday as we had talked about. *sighs* i miss her terribly. Although On a rather amusing note i did recieve a letter the other day from my uncle steve (actually i rather guess from the majority of the handwriting that it was from aunt cathy but either way its cool) one of the last family members i would have expected to recieve anything from since i havent seen him since i was 6 or so. 'just a short note to say hi hope everything is going good! you follow your dreams and your heart!!! go girl go. uncle steve' made me grin from ear to ear to read that since i get little support from family (just my grandparents really). I could go into a lot more on that, but i wont. not at the moment anyways i'd like to head off to work in a decent mood.
