Pediophobia -fear of "false representation of sentient beings" such as dolls, mannequins, or robots
In some oblique way, dolls represent the ways we interact with other human beings.
Either we manipulate them for our own amusement, wish desperately to touch the ones we're not allowed to, discard them when they get old and we've outgrown them, or fear them because they mean us harm....
Or maybe that's utter nonsense that I just used to introduce the two links to artwork that uses dollparts as the main element
