Beuracracy yet again

Well I now at least understand how come my poor gp is not writing what I need for the uni. I put in a letter requesting the medical evidence of how I have to cope with my long term medical conditions. The day after this was put in the letter from occupational health arrived. On the bright side the letter for occupational health whilst I said I didn't need to see it first the lovely receptionist at my dr's read it out to me over the phone, it says I manage and cope with my long term health conditions in a professional manner and don't let them impact on my ability to do the course. She see's no reason why I should not be able to train as a nurse. This is exactly what I needed and as I have my CRB form back and I know I've passed the access course with top grades I just need the letter from the college and later the certificate from the exam board I am going to uni final hurdle overcome.

The receptionist as the dr dealing with this was going to resubmit it to the dr with an urgent note on it asking her to write an explanation of how I cope and to do this tomorrow but as I have to have it in my hand tomorrow I'm just going to go with th e print out of medical stuff that she's done. It shows my normal meds it shows all the extra's I've been on including morphine for many months. If the disability advisor wants more information I'll just request it post the appointment on Thursday. All the medical stuff really will only make a difference to them being more tolerant of if I ever have to miss a lecture or go in looking like I've been up all night in pain or not really breathing. I doubt it's going to mean anything else sadly. It seems that as I'm not in a wheelchair they're not willing to understand that a disabled friendly room would make my life so much easier due to access to a bath I can get in and out of etc.....

I might fight with accommodation about this but I can't do that till my offer goes from conditional to unconditional which now will be once I get my grades letter from college. Any advise anyone has about this I'm happy to take.
