Woo hoo

Well my bursary has been sorted and I have my first installment in the bank and my letter confirming what I will be getting and when for the rest of the year. This is good. I've also received my official notification that I was granted a crisis loan by the uni and that they've granted me the money so I can have an adult dyslexia test without having to fund it myself. I shall now let finance know that my money has arrived so I can pay the crisis loan back. On the even brighter side as I have my bursary letter finance can now process the application for hardship funds which they have advised me to apply for so I may not have to pay the crisis loan back and they may even give me more money. So much financial goodness currently!

I also have the details of where my first placement is. I'm happy with my placement. Its working with old people but the functionally ill not things like dementia. This is good as I'm not so fond of the other area of work.

My assignments are moving on well. Hopefully in the next day or 2 I'll have the draft form of my first assignment ready to submit for checking. The other 2 assignments I can't start till I've started placement so all good there. Also up to date on my weekly work!

So now I just need to get off my arse and try to sort out the motorbike and things will be going well.

Things outside of uni are still ongoing. The situation with my mums health problems is still not realy being resolved but nothing I can currently do to help. I'll keep an eye on whats happening though. Currently she has no meds. that are working and she can tolerate due to side effects or because of other health problems such as allergies. Ho hum.

My hubbies birthday is fast approaching but I'm happy as I have all his pressies bought or at least in the case of what I'm calling "his best birthday present ever" ordered and I should be able to collect it in time for his birthday. I just need to buy him a card and find out if he wants to do anything for his birthday and if he does what! I know the week after his birthday some friends are coming over for a meal one evening. I can also give one of these friends her belated birthday gift. (belated mostly as I've not seen her since her birthday)

money, uni, mum
