Got back from Pacific Beach a few hours ago. I got a tshirt that says "pacific beach" and then there is a pirate skull on it, and below that "the beatings will continue until morale improves". :o
So...we had the Highland Games, as in rock throwing and caber tossing and sheaf (I don't even know if I'm spelling that right)...chucking. It was awesome! But I got splinters and bruises and I hurt my collarbone and elbow. We also watched Braveheart. I'm sorry, but Mel Gibson looked like a cross between Bruce Willis and Fabio in that movie. ;_;
I love my Aunt's dog. She is so small and cute and I want a Yorkie so BADLY. D:
Two things I did not enjoy:
My camera was HOMICIDED. I brought it to the beach and I had it in a bag, so I set it down and foolishly believed it to be safe. I got back to the beach house and there was sand everywhere. I tried turning it on, and it made this sad grinding sound and wouldn't turn on. So Dad took it apart and tried using compressed air to clean it out but it didn't work, so I need a new camera. I'm not going to get one for a while, though, because Dad just bought Linnea a new bike and is going to give Cristina money as an early birthday present to take with to Montana, and is thus rather short on spare spending money. I'm hoping to get a Canon.
The second thing, which is rather stupid and something I shouldn't really care about, is the fact that my cousin Janna practically ignores the fact that I exist. I find it pathetic that I'm still the little cousin tagging along after Janna and Alia. But at least Alia pays any attention to me whatsoever (see, isn't this whiny?). Janna has a rather over inflated ego, and everybody practically treating her like a fucking god is not helping to remedy this. She just kind of sucks up all the attention in the room. Some people might call this charismatic. I call it annoying.
I'm done venting.
The hobo dog has still not returned. So I think it's safe to say she's not coming back.
*tired* I'm going to go finish Fight Club. <3
