This past Monday I went to a free screening of new movie called "It's All Gone Pete Tong," which refers to Cockney ryhming slang for "it's all gone wrong" and the legendary DJ Pete Tong (since it's a movie about a DJ).
This movie is hilarious, weird, original, beautifully shot and genuinely moving. I hate to hype it up too much but I think it's the best movie I've seen in a couple of years. It's been winning a lot of awards in festivals and the lead actor, Paul Kaye, is one of the funniest people I've ever seen.
There are two more FREE screenings coming up before it open at the Laemmle at the end of the month. If you want to go, it's this Wednesday and next at the Sunset 5 Laemmle. You just have to RSVP online: http://www.matsonfilms.com/rsvp/rsvp.php
