South Pacific and assets and liabilities

Sep 20, 2007 23:35

This afternoon, Kate and I watched a little bit of South Pacific -- I had recorded it on the Tivo.

I sang along with some of the songs. "Bali Ha'i", "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Out of My Hair" and "Some Enchanted Evening".

You should have seen her face. She was riveted.

After that we went for a stroll. I talked to her about how she can do anything she wants in this lifetime. And how she shouldn't worry about money because you can make lots of money doing anything. It all comes down to your attitude. I also explained to her about assets and liabilities. How we need to invest in assets and limit our liabilities.

Soon I'll be reading to her from the Wall St. Journal.

Other than that, all I did was work work work. Trying to get Seth's website up. The website for his channel. It's not a whole website -- just a temporary splash page. But even that takes a long time. I worked so hard that I actually missed going to my mother's group playdate. All day I thought it was Wednesday instead of Thursday. When I looked up at 4 pm and saw that it was Thursday, I was stunned.

Tonight when I went in to check on Kate she was sleeping on her stomach, poised on her knees with her butt in the air. So cute.

I tested my intuition on Top Chef again tonight. Got it half right. I got it right that Hung would win but I saw Dale, not Sara, being voted off. Oh, well. Gotta keep working at it I guess.
