Vacation update plus a meme
OK yeah I haven't had time to update my blog in a while. Here's the skinny on the rest of our vacation:
Four more wineries (total of 8), visiting with Andrea, the Hearst Castle, power shopping for used books in San Francisco, Jo Jo (the most phenomenal restaurant in Oakland -- just a few steps down from Chez Pannise in terms of quality/service, but a fraction of the price -- honestly the best steak I have ever had in my life -- and the Gewurtz was like honey), and um -- what else? Oh yeah we did a little outlet shopping.
Any wonder that we came home more tired than before we left? I guess it was a bit much to pack into a 4-day weekend. But we got some good wine. Very excited about the Sanford Pinots -- I am now a wine club member.
