So, how many of you guys have heard this?
I think it's rather interesting... tell me what you think!!!

Here's a part of an email I received from Muselive:

"The International is a film due to be released in the UK Box Office on February 27th. It features Naomi Watts and Clive Owen - its tagline is "They control your money. They control your government ( Read more... )

Well, at this point I've got to express my opinion on MuseLive. They're getting less and less sane every day) I don't mean the original guys that started it, of cuz. They're still wonderful, but they're making amazing new layots and keeping all these crazy people there. It's fine if you don't read the comments below the news, which I usually do. But when I don't and when I start reading the actual comments....lets just say Im being "O__O WTF is that?"

For example, there were people who said things like "I thought it was so boring" or "What do you mean a great piece? I wouldn't put it on my iPod, like, ever".

I don't mean to be rude (and it's simply dangerous to be rude on MuseLive) but cant some people just get a grip and understand that musicians (apart from Madonna) aren't writing their fucking music to make these pricks put it into their fucking iPods?

Normal people loved it, of cause.

I love Naomi))) She's so beautiful.

I liked this more than old Muse's stuff. It (the piece) wasnt perfect, but it was truly a fresh start. And it's great, no actually, it's GREAT GREAT GREAT that there're people out there who don't understand it, who'd rather listen to SBH, because "it's something you put into your iPod and don't mess your head around it". It means it's definitely a great kind of music, an anti-mainstream kind of music.

Interesting comment.

Hmm... So that is what it's become. I have never really been there, I just usually get the news emails and read them, I do no go there to read those comments, and after hwta you mentioned there, I don't think I'll go to.

How come they think it was boring? How do you mean it isn't a great piece? Can they compose something better than? Could they put those melodies and themes together like that? Could they actually do it better than he did? I wonder...

Yes, that's very well said, very well said. And I agree.
One thing I don't understand though, why is it so dangerous to be rude on MuseLive? They going to punish you or something?

Normal people, hmm. Yeah.

She's gorgeous. *nods*

And with the last paragraph, I agree again.
And I can't truly wait for the next album, I just cannot wait. If this piece truly is a tiny preview of what's to come, I know it'll be mind-blowing!! At least for us, you know.

Neither have I, but I always loved their songs collection.

Totally agree with you!

Well, I meant to say that it's dangerous because people start arguing endlessly with you, they even started fighting with some guy there in that thread about the International soundtrack, because that guy said something about the track sounding a bit Jonny Greenwood-ish (which is actually true) that they didn't like. So they started a really long discussion.

I'm not against fanatics - I can at least understand them, but I don't understand and I'm against idiots. I never did, never do and never will. Why is one even listening to this band if one's IQ is less than a hundred points?

Definitely. I think I'm going to love this album.
And if it's understood by us it's good enough!)

Yeah, fair enough. *nods*

Cheers!

That's pretty nasty. I mean, if someone tells them their opinion, why do they instantly have to start overturn it? It's their opinion, does it turn their world upside down if just someone (or a few more.....) thinks differetly?

Why is one even listening to this band if one's IQ is less than a hundred points?
Maybe they haven't got enough brains to tell themselves this isn't their kind of music. Dunno really.

*nods* :)
