So this was a busy weekend - we saw the venue that I want, Heintzman House. I feel like I should still consider other (cheaper!) options, but it's so beautiful!
When you walk in the house, you see a large grand staircase (perfect for photos!). To your left is a sitting room, where there's a fireplace and a piano, with the cocktail bar beyond that room. To your right is the ballroom, with two entrances - one before the staircase, and one after the staircase - and once in the ballroom, there's a solarium at the end, plus a bar near the farther
When you go upstairs, there is a groom's room (with private bathroom), another bathroom, the cloak room (that opens onto the second story balcony), and the bride's room (also with private bathroom).
Let me share some (teaser) pictures!

The tour was followed by a baking session: pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin pie and pumpkin muffins. Apparently my baking was too tasty, because I didn't get to bring anything other than pieces of pumpkin pie for eating today (we went to my parents yesterday for Thanksgiving dinner)
Today was relatively low key - I went for a workout, and into the office for 10 minutes to print out a work order. I could have done it from home, had the cleaner not been in this weekend (which meant computers off). On Friday, I knew I had to print the work order out for one of the guys, but I said "meh ... he doesn't need it until 9 - I'll print it out on Tuesday morning!". Then comes Saturday morning, when I realize, "I'm not coming into the office on Tuesday morning - I'm going to be at the neurologist and having more vision tests on Tuesday morning!" Needless to say, I had to print out the work order.
I preferred that over having to get to the office early tomorrow morning in order to print it out and hurry to the hospital...
