(no subject)
I'm finding it hard to believe that we're already in August! Next week, it's already half-way through the month - and I've now been at my job for just over 2 years now, and in 3 weeks, I'll have been with Rob for 2 years...
In other news, I bought the PC Grasshopper Pie from Loblaws on Monday ... oh man is it ever delicious! And Carl had to go and state that he had grasshopper ice cream in San Fran last week. So I spent my lunch looking up recipes for the ice cream; I was unsuccessful, bought the grasshopper milkshakes do seem fantastic. I have always asked, "why would I drink alcohol if I don't like the taste, and would rather consume a milkshake?" But now ... mint and chocolate together with vanilla ice cream?? YUM! I'll have to try it out one of these days!
In the mean time, I still don't know how to make the ice cream, since when I tried adding creme de cacao once before, it had problems freezing properly in the ice cream maker.
I know this isn't a particularly important/useful post, but I figured I'd give you what's on my mind.
In other news, I'm going to have to take the garbage out tomorrow, since it is STINKY! (we're asked to not put out garbage down the chute after 9 pm, and I'm too lazy to take it downstairs). I thought it was the dirty dishes that Rob had left piling in the sink, but after washing most of them, it's still by the sink, and has been ruled down to just the garbage.
Our place needs a deep clean though, that's for sure!
