The End of the Year
Ohi there. And happy 2010/new decade!
I guess it's been a while ^^ I was gonna do a little update for Christmas, but unfortunately that ended up not happening for some reason ._. Hell I didn't even update for the end of the semester. OR the massive blizzard we ended up getting a couple weekends ago! o_o
But oh well. New Years' is a good a time as any I suppose. Updating from my boyfriend's house currently, as that's where I spent the last 24 hours of 2009 :)
Let's see...LJ tells me it's been about a week. Hmm. What fun things have I done lately?

I had a lot of fun! Shout-out to prongsxwormtail for giving me a ride there and back :) Thanks so much, love.
We all played that Pokemon: Battle Revolutions game thing for the Wii, and Apples to Apples (for a little while), then most of the party disappeared (I think to start drinking) while I played on the drum sets that were set up downstairs. Apparently I'm not too bad at it :) Her father joined me later on the guitar. Getting to hang out with suedeaxunim's little brother was cool too, and we also watched Howl's Moving Castle, which was just as fantastic as the first time I saw it.
--> Started Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days and Re: Chain of Memories.
So far, I'm definitely enjoying 358/2 more...I've been playing it all day actually. XD Yeah eventful New Years' is eventful ...I just can't get used to Re: CoM's battle system, not too mention I think it's way too close to Kingdom Hearts 1. :\ Of course, it's supposed to be Sora's memories, so that makes sense, plot-wise but still...eh. I don't know. ^_^;; Adoring 358/2 though; I love the Organization and I love Roxas, so yeah. No surprise there. Xion is pretty adorable as well. Also the dialogue is fantastic. ^^
--> Finished the original Star Wars trilogy.
Okay yeah. It was overhyped for me, but still very very enjoyable. I laughed at Han's reaction to Leia and Luke being siblings. And also at suedeaxunim's attempt to make me believe that they weren't, before that "twist" was revealed in Return of the Jedi XD Also, thank god I can catch most of the references that are made to it now. I definitely feel more "in the loop," in a geeky, nerdy kind of way XD
--> Worked on some fandom Secret Santa gifts.
Y-yeah... I still owe my Secret Santa theirs. ;_; I know it's horribly late, and I really wanted to get them all done by New Years, but it just didn't happen :( Hopefully I'll be able to get them done soon. I've been hoping to do an art post soon too, so I guess after they're done, I can.
Soo yup. That's basically my week in a nutshell.
Speaking of Christmas though, I did get some awesome presents. A sonic screw driver, from my friend who originally got me into Doctor Who - which made me VERY happy :D - and the first season of Lie to Me on DVD from by boyfriend~ ^_^
Michael, my gamer friend, also took a fancy pen (which also had a pencil and stylus components) and designed it into a Hollow Pen from the game Time Hollow - one of my favorites - which I thought was very neat and creative :D
All in all, I can't complain. ^_^
I've been thinking about buying more LJ icon slots as well. I need more room for all my current fandoms!~
