Name: Ezio Auditore da Firenze
Series: Assassin's Creed
Age: Roughly 26 years old.
Timeline: Just before the events of Carnivale.
History: "My name is Ezio Auditore da Firenze, and like my father and grandfathers before me, I am an Assassin."
Personality:
If there is one thing that Ezio is, it is passionate. Passionate about his family, passionate about his love, passionate about life. He is very much the typical Italian man, indulging in wine, women and song, and he won't hesitate to head right for the finer things in life. He is a cheerful man who has a tendency to give into his emotions, no matter what they are. Flirting is second nature to him, and he finds it difficult to not hit on everything with breasts that comes across his path, much to the chagrin of those around him.
Ezio tends to let his emotions run away with him. When he's happy, he's very happy; when he's upset, the caca will hit the fan and splatter fairly quickly. He hasn't reached the stage of maturity yet where he knows how to reign in his reactions to things. He is learning, however, especially when it comes towards the very personal anger he has towards things that, as a member of the Assassin Order, he should be remaining neutral on. He no longer desecrates the dead after he sends them to death, instead wishing them to rest in peace, even if they are his most hated enemy. He is not fully mature, but he's getting there.
If Ezio considers you family, then you've got a family member for life. He is an incredibly loyal man, despite appearances to the contrary. Just because Ezio can be flighty and carefree doesn't mean that he's shallow. He's more than willing to lay his life down for the people he cares about, and while he expects loyalty from his friends and family, he doesn't expect it to the same level he does.
And Lord Almighty help you if you are female. Ezio is quite fond of the female form, and the only time he can't seriously be distracted by belle donne is when he's on a mission (he is not, however, above flirting with ladies if it helps him along on said mission). He may not come across as serious in his flirtations with women, but Ezio really means what he says about the beautiful ladies he meets. With a younger sister and the coolest mother in Italian history, Ezio grew up knowing that women were to be respected. It isn't his intent to make a woman feel like an object; his intent it to make them feel appreciated like the stunning creatures they are. With all that said, however, it must be noted that Ezio is by no means above casual flirtations and liaisons.
Ezio takes his profession and calling as an Assassin very seriously, even if at first he only saw it as a means to avenge the unjust killing of his father and brothers. He refuses to kill innocent people, even in self-defense. Just because he knows fifteen ways to kill a man with his little finger doesn't mean he feels that he has to use them all the time. If a person isn't his designated target (or a Templar), he is much more likely to disarm and knock out his opponents than kill them.
Abilities:
Eagle Vision: A sixth sense of sorts, that gives Ezio the ability to sense his enemies, allies, and neutral parties as well as assassination targets. Ezio is also able to see sources of information, hiding spots and points of interest otherwise not visible to the naked eye with this ability as well.
Sneaky Sneaky: Being an Assassin, Ezio is well trained in the art of covert movement. Whether it's blending into his surroundings or hiding among people, Ezio can vanish into the shadows, to hide from enemies or to plan his next kill.
Free-style Running: Ezio is a master of parkour, the skill of scaling buildings and archetecture with nothing more than your bare hands. He's had this skill since his youth, and it's something he's taught himself, what with his need to make quick getaways from his various dalliances with ladies when their fathers burst into the room.
Weapon: Ezio comes with a variety of weapons with different effects hidden on his person.
Hidden Blades: The standard weapon for Assassins of the Order, Ezio's friend Leonardo da Vinci improved upon the original design, allowing for the Assassin in question to dual wield the weapons. Ezio can also equip the hidden blades with poisons to kill his enemies without being caught, and the bracer the blade is contained in also acts as a holster for a tiny pistol that Ezio can use to attack enemies from afar.
Sword: Known as the Sword of Altair, there's nothing special about this particular blade, save that it was handed down through generations of Ezio's family and as such, is a precious heirloom for the Assassin Order.
Throwing Knives: Ezio carries roughly 10 to 20 throwing knives on his person at any given time.
