In other news, my cat Merlin who is usually rather quiet and meek around the house and hides for strangers who are visiting, just hissed at a dog and the dog didn't dare to walk past him and follow me to my room. (Merlin is now resting on hismy bed.) Usually that's the other cat's "job", but she has already learned to ignore the dog. We are babysitting the poor little creature. He's a true lapdog, he is a Chinese Crested Dog.
