I’m not going to write a long story about something I remember today. ;)
It’s just that I’ve watched a few more episodes of Gokusen and I can’t help being so in love with it, even though I can see that every episode is basically repeating the same kind of things over and over again. *lol* But I feel that this is done with so much love for the characters.
Also, are j-drama-watching people not writing fanfiction? …I mean, it’s not like I need fanfic for everything, but it’s just that I’ve become used to it over the last few years, and there’s fanfiction for almost everything else I’ve been watching. (Or reading. Last book I read was Death Comes to Pemberly by P.D. James. Sadly it was not as good as could have been expected from P.D. James - I always used to enjoy her books - and not very interesting, but rather predictable and dull, but better than the other few Jane Austen fanfic novels I’ve read. …That’s sad, isn’t it?!)
Like, if I’m watching an anime, there’s always a few fanfics for even the rare pairings that I usually like, so I was expecting the same for the dramas, I suppose! I thought there would be tons of Hana Yori Dango stories, but there are actually only very few on fanfiction.net and I didn’t read any of them. There’s nothing at all for Gokusen.
That’s okay, really, and I’m not at all in the mood to write anything myself (actually, I’m not in a writing mood), but I was just thinking about Shin… and yes, I know that’s soooo inappropriate, but it’s just that because he’s the quiet, smart leader type who is the only one who knows Yankumi’s secret, and a lot of the time he just looks at her with a funny little smirk or with a very thoughtful expression, without saying a word, and… and… it’s not that I think he has a crush on her, but rather that he loves her. And that’s what I thought I might be able to find a good, heart-wrenching well-written fic about at ff.net, or even something fluffy… but nope, it looks like most people don’t think such strange things. *lol*
EDIT: I forgot about Archive of Our Own! :D :D :D Okay, that’s good, because now I know that I’m not the only one to think that age-gap relationships are perfectly fine! …But I’m going to finish the first season before I read anything. I just wanted to know if this existed at all.
....Oh, now I remember that I never finished The Lizzie Bennet Diaries! Definitely better - even if very different - than Death Comes to Pemberley.
