Stories of triumph!
Wally and I played Scrabble with a couple of friends at an ice-cream parlour today. At one time I was playing Scrabulous on Facebook a lot, so I knew all the tips and tricks that helped me win. Afterwards:
Ami: So did you enjoy that game?
Wally: Not really. I don't like such games. They make me sleepy.
Ami: What kind of games do you like then? Computer games?
Wally: Yeah, they have better narrative.
Ami: Well, that game had a narrative. It was: "Ami was winning. And then, she won."
Wally: ...ok.
I don't think he enjoys plots like that, gripping as they maybe
...
