Yes, its day 8 of non-stop rain, doom, and gloom. Well, it hasn't been THAT bad but the rain is getting old. The upside is that the little garden that E. and I planted (mostly E.) should
do nicely, but we need some sun soon!
I went to 2 parties over the weekend-one was a birthday party for Amelia who is the cutest 2 year old ever. She's very precocious and super sweet. Her dad Dave produced my CD. I got her a Magna Doodle which I believe was the 2nd favorite gift after the massive tea set that she got. Kelsey and Dave invited us to a going away party for someone we didn't really know so we debated going, but am glad that we did. I had some funny talks with Dennis and Lauren about music, Sanrio characters, and Martha Stewart.
Last night I made an apple crostada from an Ina Garten recipe that turned out really well. It's like a pie except you pile
the apples on a flat piece of dough and just fold the dough up and over to contain the apples and then you add the crumble top.
It looks all rustic and yummy...
Today I'm going to visit my parents after work and then go find a new shower curtain. I obsess over stuff like this. I have to find the perfect one!
