Back to school
After long thinking and getting completely bored of my life, I've decided to go back to school and finish my damn BA degree already. Well, actually, that decision was already made more than 6 months ago. I went back to the University and completed 4 classes that were interrupted by home-leave; a too long 'vacation' to Israel for renewing my work-visa.
During my difficult efforts to settle down here again, I've decided to go-back-back to school and started another class. This time I got a lover-level class that I was missing.. Biology. Yes, I had Biology class in the past; it was around 20 years ago and in Hebrew! I though it will be easy since, you know, isn't science suppose to have the same terms in every language???
Well, NO! This class is hard, frustrating and full with idiots (yes, more than me) and I really just wanted this class to help me get back on track. If I was already 'on track' I wouldn't dream of taking that class.
So, here I am, spending my time and money listening to a professor who calls a lady that was in Miami and NY a 'world traveler' and says that women choose the men that have both good genes and are reliable enough to stay and support the kids because there is NO WAY that women can do it alone! After a few seconds he decided to nicely add that these days some women can raise their kids alone due to 'child care'!!! I almost through a book on his face, but I didn't bother carrying my book that day. Didn't he hear that women are allowed to work?? What about day-care? Where the hell was he raised at?
Can you believe I spend money and time (lots of it) to learn from this person??? I guess next class will be about eugenics...
