A new semester
I spent 131 days at NMMI. You came to see me after rat week. I came home on a drill weekend for your homecoming, although we never went to the dance. You and your mom came to see me on family weekend. I came back home for drill weekends in October and November. The november one was sandwiched by two mini-furloughs. On Thanksgiving break I came home and was baptized. We also celebrated your 18th birthday. I never went to December drill, but I still got to drive you up to College Station.
